Charitable Work

The International Barcodes Network supports charitable work in several countries.  These include

Venezuela – 30% of Venezuela barcode sales are donated to Hagios (Venezuela Project of Next Step Ministries). Hagios is a project equipping young people in Venezuela in both theological education and social enterprise. It is connected with and supported by the Venezuela Project of Next Step Ministries.

Uganda – 30% of Uganda barcode sales are donated to the Kasese Young Single Mothers Association (KIYOSIMA) – these funds have gone towards various projects including a tailoring workshop and a duck rearing project.

Zimbabwe – 30% of Zimbabwe barcode sales are donated to Bright Hope World to support the Fountain of Hope Foundation in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe (run by Gideon & Jennifer Chisamba). These funds have gone towards a farming skills training programme, a tree planting workshop, and the Peniel Centre children’s home which provides a home, family and psycho-social support intervention to homeless orphans and vulnerable children.

India – 30% of India barcode sales are donated to projects that work at a grassroots level to help vulnerable children, end child trafficking, and rescue/rehabilitate traffficked children.

Nepal – In 2020 we made a large donation to GHNI (Global Hope Network International) to support an income generation project in a rural village in Nepal (in the Makawanpur district). The farmers have started goat keeping, poultry, chicken farming and some are involved in beekeeping.
